    1973 was a good year for the Grateful Dead. I downloaded just about every decent SBD from those websites until BW pulled the plug on us.

    San Diego, Denver Los Angeles and Madison Wisco were high lites from the fall tor. We are still waiting for that unfinished Winterland 11/9-11/73 box set…

    Cousin, that “BW pulled the plug on us” canard needs to be corrected. When all that shit went down in November 2005, Weir did indeed make some pretty stunning public comments. But he did not make the decision single-handedly. GDP was in the process of being dismantled and the intellectual property turned over to another entity for further exploitation; it seems to me that asking the archive to remove the soundboard recordings was a reasonable part of due diligence.
