Two days after Jerry Garcia died, our friends at Bill Graham Presents opened the Fillmore Auditorium and filled the place with recordings of Jerry’s music while we gathered to grieve. I brought a recording device and collected some stories, some of which are included in this week’s broadcast. I’ll play the August 13 memorial in program #1665.
